Before this all becomes a distant memory, caught up in the chaos of having a second sweet little dude in the house, I just have to take a moment to record just how sweet Jack has been through this whole pregnancy. I have been THE lamest mom, plagued by morning (all day) sickness, and no energy, asking him to watch show after show and skipping out on so many activities to let
Mom rest. And he has been such a trooper, so good about letting me nap whenever I needed. He loves to come lay with me and rub my arm, give me a kiss, and dash off to entertain himself. He is constantly coming up to hug and kiss me, rub my belly (he has a little routine of "rub, hug, kiss", and then changing up the order and doing it again). He has been drug along to more boring doctor and chiropractor appointments than I can count and impresses everyone with how well-behaved (and inquisitive and intelligent!) he is. He tells me every day that I'm beautiful or "so pretty, Mama" --I told Daddy he's been one-upped in the compliment department! And tonight, because I'm nearing the end and soooo uncomfortable, I was trying to stretch out on the birth ball. He came over to ask if he could "sauge" my back, and proceeded to rub my back for a good 15 minutes, taking a few breaks, of course, to show off his impressive flying moves off the bed. As much as he tests me and makes me crazy sometimes, I couldn't have asked for a sweeter little person to be my boy. I can only hope his baby brother takes a few lessons :)
Jack is a sweetie-pie...and loves his momma!!!
