Bittersweet.

She was just here for our vow renewal a few months' ago, and now she's gone.  It's hard to believe, and we are so, so grateful for the precious time we spent with my grandmother in September.

Kyle and Karys had to stay behind for work and school, but I was able to bring Jack to Tennessee for the funeral and surprise my dad with his grandson even though I couldn't bring the whole family.  Considering my dad spent weeks preparing and days and days on the road driving my grandmother and all of her medical equipment in an RV to get her to our wedding (best gift EVER to have her there), I was so happy Jack could bring a smile to his Grandpa Tony's face during such a sad and difficult time.  They are two crazy peas in a pod, these two.
