Three years ago this morning, I still had no idea whether I’d soon be holding a tiny baby boy or girl in my arms. Today I am the proud mommy of Jack, one of the coolest and smartest little dudes in town.
He loves rockets, and power tools, and making messes, and leaping off of anything and everything. He also loves drawing, and dancing (kid’s got some mean hula moves), and "helping" me cook, and his big sister is his best friend in the whole world.
He’s a mama’s boy who thinks his daddy hung the moon. He's got my eyes and his daddy's chin and super fast legs and talent for making rocket blastoff sound effects. He loves every single dog he meets and he waves to all the neighbors as they walk by--and even blows kisses (probably awkward for them, but whatev).
He’s a “spirited” kid who wears me out by day’s end, but he makes up for it by giving the BEST hugs and making us all crack up with the smart & wacky stuff he says. The random kisses and "I sure love you, mama"s throughout the day don't hurt, either :)
He woke up this morning with a huge grin and immediately asked “I’m three now, mama?!” Yep, buddy. You sure are. Happy, happy 3rd birthday to Minton Jack Williams--my sweet tiny guy and the biggest and best surprise of my life.
